FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Is a student kit included?+

Yes. A selected bonus kit is included with your training and contains the core professional products used during class and at Maison La Beauté. The included products are approximately enough to perform 20+ models, giving you a practical starting supply to continue practicing after your training. Shields and rods are not included. You will also receive access to our recommended Canadian suppliers so you can conveniently purchase or reorder products after training.

Do I need to bring my own models?+

Yes. Students are responsible for arranging their own models. This allows you to intentionally choose different eye shapes, lash types, or challenging cases you would like to gain hands-on experience with.

One-Day Class
Model 1 — 1:00 PM
Model 2 — 3:30 PM

Two-Day Intensive
Day 1 — 1:00 PM & 3:30 PM
Day 2 — 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM & 3:30 PM

Please make sure your models are able to arrive on time and come with clean lashes, without mascara or the use of a lash curler.

Is the training 1:1 and private?+

Yes. All theory, mannequin practice, technical instruction, and one-on-one guidance are conducted privately with Hailey in a dedicated training room.

Live-model hands-on practice takes place in our treatment area so you can work in a real studio environment. As Maison La Beauté is also an operating studio, there may occasionally be another artist and their client working in the treatment area at the same time.

Your education and instruction with Hailey remain 1:1 throughout the training.

Is parking available?+

There is no dedicated parking available in the building. Street parking nearby also has time restrictions, so we do not recommend relying on street parking for an 8–9 hour training day.

If you are driving, we recommend parking in a nearby paid parkade for the duration of your class.

Will there be a break during the class?+

Our training days are approximately 8–9 hours and are intentionally structured to cover as much theory, technical knowledge, demonstration, and hands-on practice as possible within the day.

For this reason, there is no scheduled extended break during the training. Coffee and light snacks will be provided so you can refresh throughout the day while we keep the class moving.

We recommend having a proper meal before arriving for your training.

What support is available after training?+

Students receive 3 months of post-training technical support. You may send photos of your work and questions related to techniques covered during training for focused feedback and troubleshooting as you continue practicing independently.

Do I receive a guidebook?+

Yes. Every student receives Hailey’s self-developed Korean Lash Lift Guidebook on the training day. The curriculum and guidebook evolve as Hailey tests products, rods, shields, and techniques. Students train with the current edition available at the time of their course; future editions are not automatically distributed to previous students.

Can beginners take the course?+

Yes, but choose the program based on experience. The One-Day Class is primarily a skill-up course for lash technicians who already have lash-lift experience. The Two-Day Intensive is recommended for complete beginners, technicians without previous lash-lift experience, and extension artists who have not performed lash lifts.

How long is training?+

Training starts at 10:00 AM and typically lasts approximately 8–9 hours per training day, depending on working speed and model progression. The Two-Day Intensive is approximately 8–9 hours on each training day.

Do the Two-Day Intensive dates have to be consecutive?+

No. The two training days do not have to be back-to-back. We recommend scheduling them approximately 1–2 weeks apart. This gives you time to absorb Day 1 while still keeping the training close enough together for continuity. Day 2 must be no more than 2 weeks after Day 1.

How much is the deposit?+

A 10% deposit + 5% GST is required for your training request: $168 for the One-Day Class or $231 for the Two-Day Intensive. The remaining 90% + GST is due on the training day, before training begins.

Is my deposit refundable or transferable?+

No. Training deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please confirm that you are fully available for your selected date or dates before submitting your deposit.

Do you offer installment plans?+

Maison La Beauté does not currently offer installment payment plans.

What payment methods do you accept?+

The training deposit is paid by e-transfer. The remaining balance may be paid by cash, e-transfer, debit, or credit card on the training day before training begins. Course tuition is listed before 5% GST.

When are classes available?+

Private training is generally available Sunday through Tuesday, subject to availability. Classes begin at 10:00 AM. Use the Book page to select your preferred date or dates.
